Experiments
15' long W kayak
We tested an experimental, 15 ft long W kayak made from two smaller W kayaks welded together...
The results showed that with all parameters unchanged except length, the speed, stability and load capacity increased.

Sailing W kayak
We tested an experimental crab claw sailing rig with our 10' W Kayak.
The boat was outfitted with above-waterline floatation modules and could be easily sailed in the seated, riding and standing positions.

We also tested an outrigger configuration as a sailing boat for two passengers. The boat performed very well when the passengers were seated or standing.
