Wavewalk
strives to provide quality products, reliable
service, and fast delivery. Each product is individually inspected before
it is shipped to you.
Payment
Thanks
to the Check
Clearing for the 21st Century Act (a federal law from 2004 that allows
banks
to process checks
electronically), processing checks is now fast, efficient, and free of
charge.
In comparison, credit
card companies charge vendors up to 4% of the transaction in
fees.
If we accepted payments by credit card, we would have
to raise our
prices accordingly, but we chose to keep our prices lower and we accept
payments only by check, money order, or direct transfer.
Note: your bank would charge you a fee for a direct wire transfer.
Shipping
of
Paddles and Accessories
We don't
charge extra shipping fees for accessories
and paddles shipped together with our kayaks.
Delays
In case of a significant delay in
delivering your order, our company will pay you a self imposed penalty
equivalent to 12% APR (Annual Percentage Rate) on the total amount of
your check starting from the first day of delay to the actual date of
delivery.
Cancellation of Orders Prior to Shipping
All sales are final, but you can cancel your
order anytime before we ship the kayak to you, and get a full
refund. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Limited
Product Warranty
All our products are guaranteed for materials and workmanship quality
under normal and reasonable usage conditions.
Defects covered by our warranty do
not
include minor, aesthetic blemishes.
Scratches
In case the bottom of your Wavewalk kayak gets scratched you can bring
the boat over to our premises, and we'll take care of smoothing the
scratches free of charge.
If you're unable to bring your W-kayak to us, we'll send you matching
Polyethylene chips free of charge, and
instruct you by phone or by email on the way to take care of the
scratches by
yourself (see
article
>>).
Note: Scratches occur during normal use and transportation of the
kayak. They are usually meaningless, and unlikely to affect your
kayak's performance noticeably.
In case you have any
question, you're welcome to email us pictures of
scratches on your W kayak, and consult with us free of
charge.
Product
Returns
If the
item you receive is defective in materials or workmanship please
contact us for a fix, a replacement, or a monetary settlement within
30 days.
Do not ship any product to us without getting our approval -
Products shipped back to us without our prior authorization will not be
accepted.
Return
Instructions
All products must be packed in the original, unmarked
packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and
registration
that shipped with the product.
Wavewalk recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers
shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package
for safe
return to Wavewalk, or declare the full value of the shipment so that
you are
completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit.
If
you
choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking and (2) insure or
declare
the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or
damage
to the product during shipping.
